ABOUT ILWR

Accountability

Independent Living Waterloo Region (ILWR) is grateful to its funders and donors for their ongoing dedication and commitment. They assist us in maximizing our consumers’ ability to live independently.

Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement (M-SSA)

The Local Health System Integration Act, 2006 requires that Ontario Health and the Health Service Provider enter into a service accountability agreement.

The service accountability agreement supports a collaborative relationship between Ontario Health and the Health Service Provider to improve the health of Ontarians through better access to high-quality health services, to coordinate health care in local health systems, and to manage the health system at the local level effectively and efficiently.

Independent Living Waterloo Region and Ontario Health agree that Ontario Health will provide funding to ILWR on the terms and conditions set out in this M-SSA Agreement to enable the provision of services to the local health system by ILWR.
