Our Attendants are trained to assist with personal care activities. If your Service Plan includes assistance with controlled acts or complex needs, we will arrange consumer-specific training. Controlled acts may include bowel routines, intermittent catheterization, tracheostomy care or suctioning, medication assistance or blood glucose monitoring.
Consumers can access up to 6 hours per day of scheduled and unscheduled services to a maximum of 180 hours per month, based on service needs, funding, and staffing resources.
ILWR focuses primarily on personal support services. We will assist with essential housekeeping that fits around your personal care. Should you require additional cleaning and homemaking services, we can refer you to community resources for further support.
